Kaye Tinga
President, Cultural Center of the Philippines
Kaye Tinga now leads the Cultural Center of the Philippines as its president
Kaye Tinga was appointed as the President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in June 2024, succeeding Michelle Nikki Junia. The CCP Board of Trustees confirmed Tinga’s presidency during their meeting on May 15, 2024, following her appointment from Malacañan Palace in April. The board, led by chairman Dr Jaime C. Laya, includes vice chairs Margie Moran Floirendo and Carissa Oledan Coscolluela, along with trustees from diverse fields such as real estate, music, and law.
Fondly called the “charity queen” by those close to her, Tinga is the 2013 recipient of Tatler Philippines’ Most Stylish award and co-chairs the annual Red Charity Gala, which showcases the works of prominent Filipino designers such as Dennis Lustico, Furne One and Michael Cinco and this year Lulu Tan Gan.
Married to former Taguig Mayor and Representative Freddie Tiñga, she is a mother of four. She skilfully balances her professional and philanthropic endeavours with her family life and her passions for design and travel.
As an alumna of the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in business economics and an MBA from Fordham University, Tinga’s commitment to fostering young talent is truly inspiring. She is the co-founder and managing director of W/17, a brand that collaborates with artisans across the Philippines. Tinga also serves on the board of MINT College, which offers innovative programmes in creative arts and business, further demonstrating her dedication to the next generation.
