Unveiling the Thai fabric bag collection “S’CRAFT: Craftsmanship 2025”

Conveying the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya

Presenting the beauty of woven fabrics from four regions, combined with the wisdom of exquisite embroidery through the concept of “Royal Weave”.

With the genius and vision of sustainable conservation of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, designer of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand, who has continued the royal initiative of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, in developing fabrics and handicrafts from Thai wisdom, "S’CRAFT: Craftsmanship 2025" was born, a collection of Thai fabric bags jointly created by ICONCRAFT, a space of inspiration and the largest source of creative craftwork from Thai artisans.

The exclusive Thai textile bag collection “S’CRAFT: Craftsmanship 2025” made its first public appearance at “S’CRAFT THAI TEXTILE TREASURES: FOUR REGIONS, TIMELESS LEGACY CRAFTSMANSHIP 2025,” which will be held on August 1, 2025, at Suralai Hall, 7th floor, ICONSIAM. The event was presented through a special fashion show and an exhibition showcasing the origins of each creation, showcasing the fabric’s origins and the design process that led to the creation of this beautiful, contemporary bag. There was also a demonstration of intricate embroidery by a team of craftsmen from SIRIVANNAVARI Atelier & Academy, allowing attendees to admire the craftsmanship up close.

This fashion show showcased the brilliance of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, designer of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand. Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya designed Thai silk bags themed “Royal Weave.” She combined the distinctive identity of fabrics from four regions of Thailand with the exquisite craftsmanship of exquisite embroidery. She carefully selected patterns and weaving techniques from each region to create contemporary pieces that retain their local identity. The embroidery, designed by SIRIVANNAVARI Atelier & Academy, incorporates regional symbols and materials into exquisite designs. The bags reflect a contemporary approach that fully preserves Thai roots, presenting unique works of art that are imbued with value and beauty.

A highlight of the “S’CRAFT THAI TEXTILE TREASURES: FOUR REGIONS, TIMELESS LEGACY CRAFTSMANSHIP 2025” fashion show is the “Luxe de Siam Exclusive Edit Clutch,” a clutch bag decorated with a dancing peacock symbol on a beautiful silk fabric by Ajarn Meechai Taesuchariya, a National Artist in Visual Arts who developed renowned patterns such as the Kabbua fabric and the Muk Jok Dao skirt, and founded the Ban Kham Pun Museum in Ubon Ratchathani Province, and Ajarn Weeratham Trakulngenthai, a national artist and Thai silk master who founded the “Chan Somah” brand from the Tha Sawang gold brocade weaving group in Surin Province.

In addition, there are various styles of bags created from unique fabrics and embroidery that reflect the culture of each region. These include natural woven fabrics that exude the charm of tribal people from various provinces in the North; woven fabrics with diverse patterns inspired by the architecture and handicrafts of the Central Region; silk fabrics with beautiful textures and patterns from the Northeast; and batik fabrics that combine handicrafts and unique dyeing techniques from local artisans in the South. These bags are designed to meet the needs of the new generation and fashion lovers, totaling 88 bags from four regions. These include the “S’Signature Pouch,” a distinctive tote bag with a short strap; the “Busabong Bag,” a dumpling-shaped bag characterized by intricate smocking; the “Bupa Wristlet,” a Japanese-style wristlet; the “Busaba Clutch,” a long clutch perfect for evening dresses; and the “Ratchapruek Bag,” a compact rectangular handbag with handles. Each bag is adorned with the SIRIVANNAVARI brand logo and peacock symbol, exuding its unique beauty and exclusivity. It can be considered a One-of-a-Kind that is worth collecting. It is available for sale for Thai fabric lovers to choose to own from 1 August 2025 onwards at ICONCRAFT, 4th floor, ICONSIAM.

To further showcase Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya’s artistic and design genius, an exhibition featuring 88 bags from a special collection woven from Thai fabrics from four regions is also on display. Inspired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya’s artistic and design genius, the exhibition fuses Thai wisdom with contemporary design to create works of international taste and value.
